16.15 Visitors at lunch from the Miller’s River Educational Trust (who own this property) working in the fundraising office today. They answered questions on the aim of the trust & the history of this property.

21.04 Performance at dinner, twice.
A question on my (startled) response to the word start: for a process to remain on course to its completion, a beginning is important. Three endings: a finish, where something is lost; a conclusion, where nothing is lost but not much is gained either; and a completion, which is a new beginning.
The person asking has had an insight into how he starts to play guitar. He wondered why he was in pain when playing & attributed this to the intrinsic nature of guitar playing, rather than his own approach to playing.
